I'm confused. SS said noting happened? The Secret Service hasn't released a statement. The Daily Mail is running a story saying an anonymous Secret Service agent that was there warned her twice to keep back. However, Trump is on record afterwards that he talked to the Secret Service that were there and none of them knew of her or knew of any incident. Since Secret Service agents know they'll never get a good gig in the agency if they EVER leak things to the press, the anonymous source for the Daily Mail is almost surely coming from Trump's campaign. And in related news... Corey has hired the best lawyer he can get. A federal prosecutor that had to resign after biting a stripper. OMG... this just keeps on giving and giving..

I think the whole thing started out with the Trumpies calling her a liar. You might want to hesitate before starting the "dishonest" line. Amazing what a simple apology could have avoided. A little humanity, humility, compassion, empathy.. or you can go the coverup and lying route. And they just keep piling on new lies that contradict the old lies. It's kind of the story of the entire trump campaign.

If you walk up and touch somebody in a grocery store without their permission, that is technically battery. So there is probable cause to support the charge. No big thing there. As to the conviction, we'll see.

Campaign manager bruises up a young lady during a press conference - but it wouldn't have been an issue if the campaign manager had simply apologized. That's all it would have taken - a simple, "Hey, I grabbed you harder than I meant to. Sorry about that.". End of story. But nobody in the Trump camp is ever allowed to apologize for anything. Name one time they have. So they lie. Trump says the Secret Service didn't know anything about it. Lewandowski says he never touched her. They tell Breitbart that if they want continued access to the campaign they better bury her and the story. Five top people quit BreitBart. The Trump campaign starts maligning her as a serial liar with old stories. The campaign and Breitbart say it must have been a Secret Service guy that grabbed her. Lie after lie after lie... Now. Imagine these folks in charge of domestic and foreign policy and the intelligence services and the IRS and the FBI and the ATF and Supreme Court nominations. When all it would have taken was to tell the truth and a simple apology.
