Not too far back, there was a thread about flexible spring connecters to replace conventional leaf spring shackles. I thought that I had bookmarked it but can't find it, and the 24 hour campfire search engine didn't turn up the thread that I wanted. Can someone post a link? Thanks!

One brand is Sulastic. There are others but I can't think of the names.

I've had two sets of Sulastic fail. The first lasted 3 years, the second lasted 2.5. I'm not even bothering with another warranty replacement. The rubber bonded in the cast half of the elastic hinge element separated in both instances.

Thanks! That was the one that I was trying to remember. I think that I will do a little more reading about them...
