Well, I have a 20 oz high tech and a #1 SS mnt. barrel in .280 sitting here.
I have a Micky mountaineer edge incoming as well...decisions.

Great buy A stainless lightweight 280 Rem is a very useful gun to have around.

I wondered when these would finally get mentioned here. I bought a long action last week that's already sitting at Eddie F's shop and 2 short actions that are on the way.
It's looking like the first run of short actions are sold out pretty much everywhere I looked online, I'm hoping they make another run.

I've yet to actually see a LH SS short action for sale. I've combed GB for some time and haven't seen one.
I've seen a few LH SS LA non-magnums, but even they are pretty rare, and usually expensive.
This thread's offering was downright reasonable.

There is another long action on GB from another seller. 700 LH SS LA There were a couple of short actions but they did not last long.

I got one on Saturday on gunbroker from the same seller as the above post. I talked to them today and they have several to sell.
They will not last long

I think they know they are in demand as the price on the short actions has increased from one auction to the next.

Then they had one at auction that went over $500. The next BIN price was like $519 or $529 and it was sold in less than a day. They are adjusting to the market...

Was that a short action that went for $439? I thought $500 was good but thats a really good deal.

I picked up a short action SS for 429 plus shipping. Shipping was a little high, but still in it for under 460.
