Good evening to you sir, thanks for the photos you've shared, I too have very much enjoyed them.

You must have missed the big fire they had down there last year - it was a bad year in our part of the world.

I say our, because Lake Chelan is only 3 hours south of us and the terrain is quite similar, but the valley wider than up here.

This for instance is on the little hill behind our house looking south.

Have always enjoyed your photos of nature and family. Thank-you for posting them. You live in a beautiful area, for sure. Didn't realize you were that close to the border.

We did just miss the fires there last year. We were there the week after the Fourth of July. That winery I mentioned...the owner actually was out trying to douse flames across the highway from the winery. Luckily, they and most of Chelan, survived.

Yes it was a bad, bad year for fires in the Okanagan last year on both sided of the medicine line.

My boss got evacuated 3 times and when the wind blew from the north we smoked out northern Washington as bad as they smoked us out when it switched.

Don't know about you but my family makes me look better than I really am. I'm always concerned if someone meets me they will be disappointed.

Yes, it's been a different year for us for sure as both our girls are currently living 7 hours away on Vancouver Island, though one will be back home from university in a couple weeks and the other will be going on her next travel adventure in July.

Just a day we went up the tall hills to the west for a drive.
