I found a true beater in a pawn shop with a missing loading gate and screw. Is this something a handy man can do, if so give me some pointers. Where's a good place to find one (anybody have one for sale) thanks in advance
BTW its a 336CS in .35 rem

Brownells might have them. If not, Gun Parts Co. should.

But first, I'd call Marlin's 800 number and see if they have the parts to send you. I'm guessing that if the loading gate and screw are missing, odds are, the loading gate spring is missing also. Better check the parts you have with a schematic of the rifle.

Marlins are very easy to take apart.

Good luck.
