I have a 7mm STW guess would be considered custom or semi. Built on a 700 action. MPI stock with raised comb and palm swell. 26" Shilen Barrel 4 contour, Jewell trigger. Gun was put together by Bill Davis who has built nice rifles for me an a buddy. With the talley rings and bathroom scale 8.5 pounds. Gun is a shooter but its just been sitting for couple years. Shows quite a few scratches from being hunted quite a bit and couple dings in the stocks but round count is low around 100 here are some targets from it. Not much of a seller so asking for honest answer still tough to part with it. Thanks guys just may go in a different direction like a 280AI

Was the action worked over in the build process? It's clearly an excellent shooter. You might benefit by having the metal coated with the finish of your choice before selling. Hard to say before seeing pics, but it sounds like you'd recoup the finish cost and then some.

Yes on action work. Did contemplate that at one point thought about a brake as well but didn't want a 28" overall barrel. Most hunting done backpacking now tend to take my 280 forbes for that old need to shave weight..:>
