Hey Guys, I would like some input from ya'll. I need to buy a CCW IWB holster, one that I could tuck my shirt in with.
my CCW weapon is a Ruger LC9, no laser, just regular sights.
I am a small framed guy, I am 5'8 and 155lbs
I want a IWB holster that I can tuck my shirt in, I have to wear a Shirt/Tie and Slacks often.
someone here at work suggested the Crossbreed brand and I saw a post about Bianchi brand.
your suggestions please?
Thanks -Jason

Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 with kydex clips, and a GOOD belt.

Good luck. I haven't found an IWB holster yet that you can use with a tucked in shirt. I have a Crossbreed that works ok but you have to wear something to cover it up plus I have to buy pants with a 2" bigger waist.

The two best I've ever used were the Milt Sparks VM-II and the El Paso Saddlery C-Force. C-Force is my favorite. I don't tuck, so I don't know if the C-Force has a tuckable option. The Sparks definitely does.

I like Comp-Tac.
I recommend you buy a Blackhawk IWB holster for $19.99 before taking the plunge though.
Some people find they simply hate carrying IWB. And many people do have to buy a size up in pants.

Thanks -Jason Do yourself a favor, don't try to get off cheap on a holster; that's a HUGE mistake (one that I made for years). Pony up for the best quality holster you can possibly afford. If you don't then carrying will never become comfortable and you'll end up just not carrying. My favorite leather maker is HBE Leatherworks, his tuckable holsters are outstanding.

first, try to figure if you want 1, all leather, comfortable 2, all kydex, less comfortable or 3, leather /kydex mix
i am a CompTac fan, but a friend bought an Alien Gear. it looked nice and was less expensive

A nice feature of the Alien gear is that if you switch CCW pistols, you can contact them and simply acquire the new Kydex front piece to fit the leather backing. Saves money and allows for continuation of something that already fits.

Call Milt Sparks and speak with them, asking for a recommendation.

I've got a Milt Sparks VMII with Kydex clips, one without, a Sparks Executive Companion, a N82, and several Crossbreed super tucks. They all work well, but you still need a good quality gun belt. I learned this from experience. My recommendation on something that won't break the bank, will be quality gear, comfortable and you won't have to wait a long time for: http://crossbreedseconds.com/order.php?type=holsters&code=7280 And a belt from the Beltman or Wilderness Tactical. Milt Sparks VM II or Crossbreed are my recommendations. The Crossbreed seconds link above is an excellent way to buy a Crossbreed holster. By the way, they give a military discount if that applies to you (not on the seconds though). The recommendations of a good belt should be taken to heart. If you are going to carry, you need a gunbelt. I have a couple from Milt Sparks and a couple from The Belt Man. Even if you weren't to carry, these belts are so much better than anything else out there. It will be money well spent.

Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 with kydex clips, and a GOOD belt. I think this is the best advice you will get. I am wearing one as I type this. I carry a standard 1911 all day, every day with one. I got the horse hide because it will nor absorb moisture in my humid climate. I wear a Wilson double layered harness leather belt and feel the combination is well worth the money spent.

My problem with tuckable holsters is that the clips are still visible, even though some of the better ones (usually offered as an option) go over the waistband but under the belt. The standard Crossbreed Superuck clips are really tragic. Drawing is no fun, either.
