I'm in the process of putting together a AR-15 in the 25-45 Sharps. Sharps has come out with a 100 gr. flatnose that's bonded. Thinking it would be perfect for the 25-35 Winchester. http://store.srcarms.com/product-p/25x45-100ss.htmShown with the (left) Rem 100 gr SP, & Hornady 117 RN. 25-45 Sharps

Hmmm, a flat point 100 gr. 25 cal bonded bullet...
Makes me wonder why hornady is discontinuing there 25 cal 100 gr sp if other companies are rolling out new 100 gr 25 cal bullets.
I think it perfect for the 25-35, but just it alone and the 25-45 sharps.

That would be a deer slayer for sure. Curious about the voids between the jacket and core at the base?
I have had an unreasonable hankering for a 25-35AI in a lever action. That bullet would be ideal for that.

Killed a few deer with the Barnes original 90 grain SP out of a Contender carbine. It had the thick soft copper jacket.
Bullet would open wide with strait penetration out of the 25-35 Winchester. Hope this bullet acts the same.

I don't think that bullet is Stick approved. What's the BC, a negative number?
Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

This looks like it would be a dandy bullet for the Sav 99's in 250-3000 with 1-14 twists.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.

This bullet needs to be offered as a component. Ken Waters and a few other writers over time have called for a flat or round nose 100-grain .25 caliber bullet for the .25-35. I feed to Speer 100-grain JHP bullet through the magazine of my Winchester Model 94AE with no trouble and load the .25-35 to 1920's equivalent velocities. I load the 100-grain Speer bullet to 2,500 fps+ in the 20" barrel and this combination works well on our light framed deer.

What good does it do if it only comes in 25/45 ammo?

It appears to be an A-Square dead tough bonded bullet. You've got to figure the 12 guys that actually hunt with a 94 Winchester would call SRC and demand that the bullet be released as a component.
