They fit different guns. Which model are you buying the choke for?

Because like I said the different chokes are for different models. The m1 uses the mobile chokes. M2s use crio chokes.

Think what you want. You could just look at the choke chart on Carlsons Web page. It'll tell you the same thing. Mobil choke and crio/plus choke barrels are threaded in different places. Mobile choke at the end of the barrel, crio/plus choke down inside the barrel an inch or so. Maybe since I have an m1(Mobil choke), and an m2, SBE II, and an ultralight(all 3 crio/plus choke) I know what I'm talking about. Or maybe I'm playing you. Good luck with whatever you decide to purchase.

There also was on older crio choke that hasn't been made since about 2006, but was only available on a few models, like the sport or Supersport. M1 wasn't one of them.

I agree that the m1 and the nova use the Mobil and the m2 and new montefeltro use the crio. I used a Carlson LB choke in my m1 with great results to 50. I still have it if you are looking for one. Gun is gone.

I did not know this, thanks for the info, but honestly no where on Carlsons website, or any other, did I see the specs mentioning the differences,

I have yet to see a single website ever, that mentioned Benelli M1's and M2's have different tubes.

Thanks for the education.

No, he isn't. The M1/super 90 and the M2 chokes are totally different. M2 are quite a bit more expensive as well.

Seriously? Almost I looked at 3 in 5 minutest and they listed different ones. Cabela's, Bass Pro, and Primos.

Congrats on your TN trip. I'm going to take one there in a few years. I'm hoping to take the kids to SD for a black hill turkey first though.
