You can tell they are all business the way they move through the woods.

It seems he has a taste for skunk. Very cool pics. I have only seen one in the wild and it was just a flash running across the road by a lake.

Those are cool Frank. Always wanted to see one up close. Been around plenty of marten, would like to see the bigger version.

Was lucky enough to observe one from my deer stand a few years ago.

Very stealthy critter and larger than I had imagined.

FVA: I have seen just a few Fisher's in my life time and usually just for a few moments.
My longest and closest observation took place in the Big Hole country of western Montana.
I was up in a tree stand archery Hunting Elk over-looking a well used trail when down the trail comes a Fisher.
He got into a pursuit of a Chipmunk near me and up and down tree trunks they went and several times they jumped from evergreen tree to evergreen tree.
The Chipmunk would not leave the area and the chase went on for several minutes til finally they went out of sight and there was no more movement for a long time from either creature.
Then some time later the Fisher came walking/prancing back down the trail and passed right under me.
The Fisher did not seem concerned about my scent trail which he had to have crossed a few times.

Ah, yes, the northern tube badger lacks neither confidence nor speed. Prefer to watch them from the imaginary safety of my tree-stand. Beautiful though.

Great pics, have never seen one.

Saw my first Fisher on Deer opener 2014. It was coming across a field heading for the river. I got to watch him in my scope for about 5 minutes. Pretty cool critters.

This picture needs to go in the dictionary under "badass".

Fishers is bad little dudes.

They love house cats too, a cat cannot get away from a fisher, there is no place a cat can go that a fisher cant go with a little more speed. Cats will often go up a tree to try to get away from a fisher, game over.

I didn't know ANYTHING would eat a skunk. I thought they had Gods "Get Out of Jail Free" card. Very cool

Fishers also eat porcupine.

They also tend to get into gutted deer out on the meat pole, but better fishers than bears!
