For sale is my Nosler Model 48 Trophy Grade Rifle in 7mm-08 cal.
This is just a great all around rifle, very accurate with both factory loads (Federal Fusion, Nosler Trophy Grade 140 AB, Barnes TTSX 120gr), and the one handload I developed for it with a 120 gr Barnes TTSX and Win 760. The rifle will shoot all of these loads well under an inch consistently.
It is not a super lightweight rifle, more of a mid-weight weighing an advertised 6lb 8 oz bare rifle. I bought the rifle used but unfired and have hunted it a couple of times. I would estimate it has less than 200 rounds through it total.
It’s a beautiful rifle with its tungsten gray Ceracote finish and matching black and tungsten spiderweb stock. The only reason I would consider selling it is that the B & C stock just doesn’t fit me very well, and I went back to my Kimber MT in the same cal.
They only imperfections are a slight rub mark on the top of the barrel (not through the Ceracote and almost impossible to photograph, probably from sitting in the former owners safe) and a very small nick on the bottom of the alum trigger guard. I bought the rifle with both imperfections, and happily did not add any more.
The rifle was advertised at $1,795, when they first came out, and then reduced down to $1,450 a couple of years later as a short term holiday time sale with quite a bit of wait time to get one, which is why I bought this one like new in box.

Good afternoon. for all those who have asked, this is a very very high quality rifle, trued, made from excellent parts, and put together by hand by Nosler. Nosler rifles have an excellent reputation for great fit and function, and accuracy on their rifles, and stand behind them no matter what. This is an excellent accurate rifle and the only reason I would even consider selling it is that I just prefer the stock on the Kimber I have in the same caliber, and this rifle is way too nice to just sit in the safe and not get used much. Whoever ultimately buys it will not be disappointed.
