Thanks man, good to hear feedback. I was trying to do NORMAL camo on those, lol... It's rather mundane compared to Whathefuckaflauge! More along those lines coming. Most all this stuff is "practice" after running out of my own and wanting to try more...

This was a poor mans job at camo. Stock was a Winlite. Once the fancy camo was done, I added a light coat of the tri colored textured Krylon. Damn good grip. Actually wish I had that stock back..

I like it. Kinda ULAish.

Well, here's slimmed Howa Mini #4. Went for "a bit funky" pattern but "standard" camo colors. Ended up with THEE Microwebbingfluage which made this into about a 15 step paint process. Also, decided to spend more time on refining the shaping, and paint, rather than shaping flutes. This one is slimmer and rounder thru the grip than the others and feels great (IMO) with the front of the comb bumped back about 1/4". It also has zero rattlecan products, instead it has: adhesion promoter, 2k urethane sanding primer, and Duracoat texture, color and clear. Hoping the owner will post up pics with the action one of these days.... It's really quite a bit of work. BTW, it's a green one and plenty stiff and dropped in weight about the same as the other three posted on 'Flave's thread. Really very pleased with the detail on this and happy to hear comments or GFYs. Cheers.

If you guys have a factory stock that you'd like reworked you should PM MtnBoomer.

Having a stock reworked will take that rifle from the back of the safe, to the front.

I've had two done and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I can say enough good about how the stock turned out. The pictures are a good representation, but don't fully do the webbing or texture justice. I've only carried it around the house, but the stock now feels like a nicely proportioned rimfire stock and I can't wait to try it out in the woods. I will try to get some additional pics up this weekend, including putting it on the scale.

I highly recommend MtnBoomer's services. Work was quick, feedback was good, and he was more than willing to work with my OCD on the color and finish preferences, which were his ideas.
