Anybody shoot this and what twist is needed to do so? I'd like to try it in my Ruger No.1B.

They'll shoot fine in a one in 12 or 10.... friend shoots them out of a 6 BR with a one in 14 twist....

Your Ruger should be a 10 twist, although I do have a tang safety 77 varmint in 243 that is a 12.

jaytee,

They'll stabilize in a 1-10 but not in a 1-12, at least at your elevations.

You can measure the twist in your No. 1 with a tight bore-brush wrapped with a cotton patch. Run the cleaning rod into the rifling a little bit, enough to see the rod turning with the rifling. Then mark the rod so you can measure long it takes to turn once completely as you push the rod in further.

I thought the No.1's were a 9 twist but I could be wrong.

Any accuracy reports on these bullets?

Thinking of loading for a 6mmBR 1-10 tw.
