Not trying to be a jerk but you'll get the best advice if you figure out how you plan to use the optic and state it clearly.
What I'm trying to tell you is that you need to think "how far?" and "how small of a target?". Nobody can really tell you if those Vortex spotters are suitable for you, since you really haven't stated what you plan to do with them. Evaluate sheep at 2.5 miles, watch birds at 400y, or check groups at 200?
First, pick the distance. If you can see your intended "target" well enough with nekked eyes at 100y, then start with 1x for every 100 yards. Now, if you're looking to pick out antlers in tall grass then you may want more.
Next, take the number of X's you desire and consider exit pupil. For a spotter with decent glass, I want a minimum of 2mm exit. So for 25x, I want a 50mm objective, minimum. A 2mm exit seems small compared to binos, but has worked well as a general guideline. Most 60mm scopes will give a good image up to 30x, and most 80mm scopes up to 40x. Of course there are exceptions but this works well enough for a rough guideline. The X's then can give you a clue in terms of distance and intended use.
Figure out your "needs" and "wants" and it'll make the decision easier. Or, just buy both and see which works best. Keep one and return the other
