Sanders is more presidential than either Clinton or Trump. And a lot of Jews are pro gun. Probably has to with their history of persecution.

I have an uncle who is a rabid liberal and a 2nd amendment supporter. I know a couple other folks who are "green" people, who are Bernie first, Trump second voters.
There are two main parties, and there is no way that everyone falls completely behind their platforms.
Republicans are more party bound than Democrats by a long shot, at least around here. If there is a cross over vote here, it would be a D going to R. Republicans almost never cross over.

I get some weird looks with my Trump sticker on my Subaru Forester. I think the majority of the people in my area are Bernie supporters.

I just saw a Subaru here on base ("New Navy") with a Stanley (sic)Steemer rug cleaning service licker er,,sticker on the back window.

When we recalled a couple Colorado pols over the new gun laws a couple years ago there were a surprising number of Dems supporting the recall and supporting 2nd amendment.
