I was out hiking on a river one year and caught a hatch of some black fly coming up and ive never forgot the scene.
It looked like a minarure aircraft carrier launch. Just hundreds of them in formation launching in order.
I watched it for a good 15 minutes within 2 feet. Was pretty cool.

They were thick down on the lower Missouri too but I only saw a few rises. It'll get better
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.
