If I wanted one, I'd say $850 - $900 for a Mint used one. There are several NIB on GB for $1049-$1255

Priced at 899 and of course tax, not sure if they will negotiate, had a 243 in one and a few other configs and calibers, the K1A in 6.5x55 was the one I should have kept....
Not sure how common or uncommon this round is in a 1A - the 280, though a 7x57 might have more appeal to many for nostalgia reasons.
I was not looking for one, but a clean Falling Block usually catches my eye...seems a bit much for a 22" bbl but would be effective none the less.
Thanks for the info guys.

Cabelas had a few new ones for $799, wood looked like it came off a Handi Rifle...Not sure if it was and A or and S though.

I saw one on a very big gun shop's website, used NIB unfired for $899, looked like it had nice dark wood.

My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

The answer should be "new in box" meaning it came from the factory to someone with an FFL license to sell. Some call NIB the same as As NIB, or "AS New in Box," meaning it has been purchased once but never fired, never cycled, etc. Hope this helps. Either definition would include NEVER fired since leaving the factory and in its original box.

I know what NIB means:) But I never heard the term "used NIB" and that is why I asked.

Used NIB, it was bought from an FFL, taken home (transferred) and traded in to another FFL as never fired. Some people call this NIB, GunBroker required that it be listed as used. It's on First Stop's Gun Shop, Rapid City, SD website.
