I don't know a thing about them, but I do know that an engine not able to breathe freely will cause a lot of problems. Also, a muffler works (partly) by converting sound energy into heat. Those mufflers have to get really hot.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

A lot of then engine noise comes through then engine case, not out the exhaust.
