Yes it does, very trim and compact.

I couldn't stand it, that black and orange model 90 is headed to Virginia.

Thanks Mr. David!

I really like the looks of the model 90, I just wish the blade was about 5/8" longer

on the way from mr David

#45 /w a tad longer blade. Asked him to soften / round the scales to fit the hand easier.

Anybody got a pic of a #42?

Pondering on the next one.

I am thinking on a #42 build as well.

Picture is from Davids website (hope he doesn't mind), there are several pictures of #42's shown. This one comes pretty close to what I am looking for.

I like your idea of "softening" the handles.

Saw that pic and a stag one I think on his page.

Was hoping someone had a #42 and #43 for a comparison

Really looks good with shorter handle.

My favorite Winston to date. He did a great job on this one.

He softened the scale edges. And even the spine on the blade. Fots great in the hand.

Soon to be another on order.

Dehorning the edges on the spine like that is just another touch of class. And that glass bead-blasted blue G-10 looks really great. It certainly provides a sure grip. That is a very nice custom and I'd be proud of it too...!

Yessir, David Winston is too notch. I'm not knocking other makers. I've got some from most of em here. But for the money. A Winston is the best you can get. Plus he's relatively quick at turning them out.
