Back in 93? I bought a bearcat convertible, its BN in box I have the recall letters. They made less then a thousand of these and claimed a problem with the Mag Cylinder. Its never been fired. I haven't been tracking price on an unfired new in the box converible I heard at on time an $1800 number. I had a pawn broker offer $1200 I wanted $1500 for it so My number is $1500 plus shipping.. I can text Pictures if needed.

I have one of these Bearcats .22LR/ .22Mag.
Bought it NIB or damn near NIB. I bought it to shoot so didn't matter.
Ruger initially claimed the .22Mag. cylinder was out of time and issued a recall. So the idiots sent the cylinder in as Ruger requested. The idiots deserved to lose the cylinder and receive about $ 30.00 back. You cannot time a cylinder without the complete pistola. I called Ruger when I bought mine and had a little fun with them. They wanted the cylinder and made a small offer, about $ 30.00 or so. My bearcat has no " timing" issues with either cylinder. Independent gun smiths have made ,22 Mag. cylinders for the Bearcat. Gary Reeder????? I have no idea as to value. Now if you want a "Rare" Ruger pistola…..look for a hawk eye in .256 winchester . Bought one of those NIB from LGS when they were in the counter.
