...all the money we sent the govt stayed in the US in the form of improvements here and for building our military might and security. Maintain foreign embassies as needed, but the bulk of the cash was wisely invested in American prosperity, for AMERICANS. Roads, bridges, irrigation, commerce, industry, prosperity.
Welfare recipients would be required to contribute, somehow, and would only collect short term. A sense of nationalism would be worn with honor, not shame by all Americans including our politicians. America stood for her own best interest in international matters, not everyone else's at our expense!
A strong America could be better positioned to contribute wisely anywhere needed, vs. a weak America stripped clean and ready for the picking. Our politicians HAVE to have a hidden agenda otherwise their treasonous actions would be insane. America is being given away, and us along with her.
Just imagine the prosperity America could have if we were unshackled with a treasonous govt and allowed to prosper ourselves thru industry and hard work.

Well said! Just imagine.....
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Only about 0.15% of the annual federal budget is spent on foreign aid. The difference would be negligible.

Imagine how much spending that is nothing more than govt. waste occurs.
Imagine if the federales actually only stuck to their declared duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Constitution, and didn't stick their noses into what doesn't concern them.

Wake up, chump... The 'America' you're imagining doesn't exist anymore (if it ever did). We are an oligarchy ruled by the 'elites' who have ran a very successful brainwashing operation on the vast majority of citizens (R's and D's). They evade their fiduciary obligations to our society while increasing the load upon the workers who actually enable this country to run. They are multi-nationals whose sole allegiance is to the dollar...nothing more. Any pretense otherwise is to bamboozle the deluded masses to get or retain a vote. And they've succeeded so well they have the majority of americans thinking they only have two choices to vote for...no matter how bad. Here's your new 'America'---bow down and pledge your allegiance...
It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so...

Perhaps the greatest gain would come from removing the funding of unconstitutional agencies strangling the economy with their unnecessary regulations.
