I'm new here and plans to starting building a bullet for my Kimber Classic 84M in .308 caliber. Looking for a starting posing if some one has a pet round they would share.

She shoots the Banes ttst factory 150 pretty dang good but I'm sure with a few tweaks hear and there plus the satisfaction of building your own it can get much better.
Thanks for the help
Cory

Welcome to the fire.

308 caliber rifles are usually pretty easy to load for. I really like varget or RL 15 with any good 150 grain bullet just off the lands

Due to mag length, seating just off the lands in my 308 Kimber is not an option. I load them to factory max OAL. Luckily Barnes like some jump to the lands so it works out.
Suggest you use Barnes manual and start on the light side with any of the suggested powders and work up carefully. Your rifle will let you know what it likes but as Dude270 said, 308's are easy to find a good load for.

I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all.
