I have a Remington 700 Mt Rifle DM, in .280 Rem, with a Leupold VX 2, cds that I'm thinking about selling.
Whats a good starting point? I don't see many for sale to compare to.

Thomas, I'd definitely sell the rifle/scope separately unless you've got someone specifically looking for a package. I'd say $625-675ish is a decent price (rifle only).

Ok. Thank you. I'm not a fan of the redicle so it won't bother me to see it go. No problem separating it either. I have the box for the scope.

$675.00 on the higher end; $625 should sell pretty quick. A new from the factory Savage in the same configuration is around $740ish.
Remember, not everyone has a happy ending, so be happy when you can

My early model 270 finally sold for $475 around Xmas. It was A good shooter but did have a few safe dinks as well as some blue wear at the muzzle plus it had been shot enough that the machining on the bolt was pretty much worn .
