Just snapped this one. Hard to believe week before last it was a mess from that big wind. But some babying kinda paid off!!! This one isnt a big plot. But one I can manage for now. May add on later. It has rained everyday for the past 18 days, don't have anything in the ground. Have plants up to plant, just need to dry off a bit.

we got our 2nd hail storm in a week.
Amazing what that stuff does to wee plants. Half our tomatoes gone on the first storm. Replanted saturday and now we get hit again. hate to go look.

Iv got taters and some onions in the ground, going down to 29 sat., night might snow! be a few more weeks till I get brave enough to plant above ground stuff!

Garden this year is an acre of prairie grass seed we just planted. Supposed to rain this week so hoping that stuff comes up. Heard it is slow growing. We are at about 6600 feet in elevation here so thinking hard on a green house for next year.

OK....no laughing.... My little 10X10 garden....4 tomato...1 green bell pepper...one red bell pepper...and two poblano peppers... Got it in, and it was doing great until the torrents of constant rain.
Root Rot has control now.

The garden does look good .....what is supposed to be growin' in it is another story ....lol
That is my FIL's garden spot ..... lost him New Years mornin' to advanced Parkinsons.
He wasn't able to garden the last 6 years and I take care of the cattle....fences....hayin....feedin.....tractors and everything else and work at a power plant.
You heard the song "married the farmers daughter" ? lol
Wife wanted to garden again. I believe it's like spendin' time with her Dad for her. So I spent a day and got his old '54 Powermaster running. Then me being the husband i am, I got her a 6 ft gear drive tiller.
My Pappy and her's woulda sure liked to have had that thing to work with .........
