I'd send it to JES and do a 35/300 Savage. Not because I've done it, but the next 300 Savage 'shooter' that I come across will get that treatment.

Joe, the Titus is good with Barnes 110's, or lighter. Otherwise, meh.

I started with 130 Hornady GMX's in the Titus. They worked. Those mono metal bullets are pretty long. I'm guessing they left with primer burns on them. I get a little more speed out of the lighter bullets and since this is only a deer gun, light works.
