I'm contemplating a Rem Mdl Seven build but want to use an ADL style of stock... no bottom metal except for the trigger guard.
Has anyone done this and were there any issues, especially with magazine fit/function?
Thanks! JayDub

On the 700 ADL vs BDL the ADL uses a different mag box with a tab that takes screw to retain the mag box to the action. Don't remember if the M7 action is already tapped. As long as the stock inletting positions the box properly, you shouldn't need that screw with the original box. But make sure the box isn't jammed between the stock and action. I'm going to guess the trigger guard from a 700 would not drop in but I haven't looked. Or maybe it does... https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/10447298/Re:_Rem_m7_adl_question.

I fixed one up for my nephew In a adl stock. Didn't mess with the little screw just put everything in got it tight and it feeds fine. A one screw adl trigger guard would be nice.

this one has just the rear hole. I think it is a Holland's from Midwayusa.
