I am offering for sale what could be the ultimate in protection for your firearms when traveling by air, or any other means for that matter. Made by West Manufacturing, this "vault" is welded aluminum with heavy duty everything -- hinge, latch and wheels. Inside are two 48" x 10" canvas cases with heavy padding and heavy-duty zippers. I have never seen one of these before -- truly a high-quality product. I called the manufacturer to inquire about the case. They have not made them for about 10 years. The zipper on one of the canvas covers has a tooth missing near one end. I am going to sew the zipper together at the damaged area. It will work fine yet, but the entire zipper can easily be replaced. The owner's name and address was applied to both sides with stick-on letters. I will remove those before shipping. The case carries purely cosmetic battle scars from travel -- it did the job it was intended to do.
