If anyone would mind running QL at modern pressures instead of all the limp loads in the books ... I'm running Barnes 127 grain LRX Enduron 4451 43.4-44.6 or Imr 4350 44.8-45.2 CCI 200 Fire formed Norma brass Going to he range when it clears up with my chrono but if I had some data it might save my some time... I'd hoping to push this rifle up to about 2800fts if possible while still maintaining safe pressure.... Also is or has anyone ran the enduron with magnum primers? Really appreciate any help.. Thx

My Tikka T3 Hunter has a distinct liking for 129 Hornady bullets and about 47gr Alliant Reloader 19. The most accurate load has been a Hornady 140gr SST and about 47gr H4831. It also did well with bulk Remington 140gr Core Locks and 40 gr Ramshot Big Game. It doesn't like any light weight bullet loads I've tried.
When you set your seating dies for OAL correctly for the long throat in your Tikka, be careful. The Tikka has a tapered throat. If you use a Hornady OAL tool (I recommend one) stop at the first resistance you feel as you push the bullet forward. Don't force the bullet all the way to the rifling if you don't like beating your bolt handle open.

Oops. I just re-read my posting. The Ramshot powder charge should be 50 grains. Typo.

I pick up my new Tikka T3 in .260 REM tomorrow and also plan on using the 127 LRX, any .260 load suggestions?
