I do have more but didn't ask permission to post them here, and he is holding the buck and I don't know how to remove his face from the image. This was a great angle to show the spread and tine length. He is a big guy (the shooter) and the buck doesn't look as big with him in the picture. He only went 155lbs, dressed and is 21" inside.

Are the light colored antlers typical of bucks in that area? Anyone know what determines the color...genetics or food?

I shot a buck with the bow this year with very dark horns about 1.5 miles from where this buck was killed. Go figure.
