Have an opportunity to manage a business near Sidney. Have never been to the area. What can I expect? Anyone here have any first hand knowledge of the area? Any hunting or fishing available there?

I live and work in the area, good hunting opportunities, a few good fishing spots in the immediate area. What business are you going to manage?

We have a poster here that lived and taught school there for many years,
Hope he see's this.
I have hunted that area a few times, decent mule deer .
Yellowstone River runs through it, not a fisherman, but heard it's OK, mostly private ranches, access may be a problem.
It's in the middle of the oil boom area, town about doubled in size, along with traffic, crime and a housing shortage.
FWIW unless it's change in the past few years, I'd not move there.

There is not a housing shortage here anymore, lots of people moved out with the drop in oil prices, but people are still pretty proud of what they have to rent and sell.

This a picture of a menu I took at a restaurant in Sidney a couple weeks ago. Wonder if they sell many $14 bowls of ramen noodles. I have been spending quite a bit of time there for work, definitely seems like things have slowed down compared to last year at this time. I'll be back next week.

Work out that direction some. I have some pretty good resources there. Friends that ranch just outside Sidney and in the surrounding areas. Another friend is county commissioner.

Let me know if you need anything. I will help however I can.
