I am reliably informed these are "Shaaaaaarks".....Very sporting to try on such light tackle! The little fella is two and seems to love anything to do with fish and fishing. Instead of a bed time story, he prefers to get one of my fishing books or magazines and thumb through it while sitting on my knee. Mind you 2am the other morning he woke crying because there were "shaaaarks" under the wardrobe... Life is never dull when he visits, that's for sure!

Be sure to get him a real Samurai sword to learn how to fillet them.

That's a Great picture , Pete! It's a treat to see the little ones with such a clear view of priorities and possibilities! Treasure it, life gets in the way too soon but you are feeding his imagination and he won't forget.

Depending on the weather, we might take him to a local beach next weekend and I'll set out a couple of crab lines. Its no use trying to do anything too serious as his attention span is just too short at the moment...

Number 2 son would fish anywhere, any time. I quit telling him he couldn't catch anything, because he usually did. He is an awesome fisherman now. Like the guru of fishing. Real talent.

The guy who runs the local tackle shop has a son like that..He's 18 now and has been sponsored by one of the big tackle companies to promote their products ect. If he keeps it up, I think he will have a good future in the industry...

Fantastic photo! A "Norman Rockwell" moment captured! If it gets out I wouldn't be surprised if it went viral. Might want to give some thought to a copyright.
