I'm going to need a bigger smoker than my Bradley this fall when it comes time to butcher the pigs, so I'm thinking about what to do. I picked up a couple metal tanks this weekend, about 200 gallons, the tall oval kind some people use for fuel or heating oil. One was used for a water tank, so no fuel residue inside. Thinking of putting and axle and wheels on it, cut the side out and turn it into doors, put in poles or racks and with a coat of black barbeque paint it might not be the stupidest thing I've done...Would build a firebox to pipe the smoke in or go with electric burners heating trays of wood chips...Think it would work ok?
