Yesterday we journeyed south about 45 miles to my grandson's high school graduation ceremony.
Been to more than several grand child's high school graduation over the past five years. Only one left and that is two years off and in Texas.
Of course in between we have been to several college graduations of grand children and one late finishing child(my youngest daughter) who interrupted her education to start a family and later continued her college and finished.
Tomorrow we travel 100 miles north for my wife's family reunion.Busy weekend.

Well, I wish I'd gotten walleyes, but I did get out for a couple hours today and caught my 20 sunnies. They're running nice size-1/2 to 3/4 pounders. Everything was biting. I threw about a dozen casts with a Smithwick Devil's Horse and caught 5 bass including one that was probably pushing 5 lbs. I actually has a bass come up and try to eat my little red and white bobber I was using for the sunnies! They're on the beds in about 3 feet of water.

Going to switch over to suspended crappies and walleyes on Tuesday. Hoping to get on the lake by about 4:30, hit the walleyes till shortly after sunrise, switch to crappies, and then maybe go get some sunnies afterwards. I need a couple more good batches of fish in the freezer.

Weather looks pretty sporty for tomorrow. Might have to stay home and stay dry.

When I was in the BH's this time last year, there was a storm with baseball sized hail as well. Literally went THROUGH cars. Crazy.

Caught about a dozen bass today. Chartreuse spinnerbait around the docks. I thought maybe I'd get on the walleyes or at least some decent pike with this weather moving in, but no luck. Made a run for the ramp when I heard the first thunder clap. Just pulled in the garage with the boat when it started raining.
