Last weekend was the annual PDI with a gaggle of shooters from choice places all over America, namely Montana and Iowa. HawkI made it with 2 assistants from Iowa and beat all of us there to the rendezvous point with the most miles travelled. We of course saluted him and gave him his prize which was simply to bask in our Montana radiance. Rancho Loco wasn't to make it until Saturday and even with my map, was able to get lost and we had to go find him...

We shot prairie dogs Friday evening and set out markers and wind flags in the fields so we could have reference points and wind detection devices. It was all my idea, but JB wants to take credit for part of that...

[Linked Image]

We had 3 fields, I was only going to share 2, but one of them was almost barren, so the field I usually save for myself and good friends, got abused by the mob...

[Linked Image]

We even had ice to cool down the barrels...

Many critters bought it that day, but I ended up with one more than every one else...

Well, looks like the motley crew had a great time.

When you aren't great at everything like some are. You have to concentrate on things you are good at. I think I might of hit one. Thanks again for a great time!

Ouch, I didn't think you would be watching. You can shoot, I was talking about someone else. You certainly can cook, I need to try those shrimp with a Cajun marinade...

The Invitational is all about making me and Travis look good. The kids weren't invited back because they shot the cowboy guns so well and Travis didn't come because they out shot him and they were using pistols. It does help to have the right ammo for the gun you are shooting...

You really should.
They have trees, prairie dogs, a windmill, and of course Bob's house is really nice.

Oh...don't forget to close the gate behind you.

I saw shrapnel evicerate at least 27 pasture poodles in a row....

I was using a hand operated counting clicker and said phug it after 23 and a bout of carpal tunnel.

Good to see the Montanans again; missed Clarke but got over it quickly after some shrimp and nilgai steaks and a smattering of Schlitz beers.

I might have mentioned it before, but I believe the 222 Remington Magnum stood above all comers yet again....

PS,

JB is what is known as a "silent killer" in these parts.

Thanks again to our hosts/friends.
And Rancho is a good dude, but the sight of his choice of rifles can just piss some people off...

Nice map.

Any chance of putting GPS coordinates on it?

Is there any Schlitz left?
