I love my three Henrys but they will have a difficult road to hoe to prove they are the equal of a BLR.
Does this .405 Winchester make my butt look big?

Needs iron sights IMO. Lever guns just don't look right without em.

Since they opted out on irons, a sensible thing would have been to have picatinny style slots milled into the receiver to accommodate weaver style, Z style, or pic style rings, or most of the red-dot and prismatic type sights.

If I want a gun that looks like a BLR, guess what I'll buy?
As for the long range thing, I shoot my Savage 99's to 800 yards. Are they implying theirs is better than a 99? I hope not.

Yeah, that's it, they are implying its better than everything. It's a hell of a lot better than a new Savage 99, that's for certain.

Looks like it's full of gears just like the Browning, that and being aluminum are two too many strikes for me. I've ginned up a strong dislike for gear guns being a Browning service center gunsmith.
But it's made in the US so I wish them well.

If it is made of gears, it's a pass.

Curious to know what the actual sticker price will be. The Henry Big Boy steel I had in .357 was smooth and very accurate. Would love to have one of these in a 6.5 Creedmoor or 7mm-08.

I like the idea of a lever-action .223 as a utility rifle for around the farm, particularly an American-made one. Be interested in seeing what the actual retail price will be.

MSRP is $1014.95, street price probably between $850-$900.
