Have one on my .22LR AR and like it fine. It's not of aimpoint quality, but it's not far off. In its price range it's very hard to beat IMHO. Great budget optic for sure.

Battery life is short in the one I had, I went through a battery in about 2 months and only had it to the range once. Supposedly it has a auto turn off so I don't know why it ate the battery up so fast.
On a side note the Vortex 3X magnifier is so much better than the EoTech it's not even funny. I had three EoTechs and they all had a yellow tint to them, the Vortex is much clearer although the mount is not as sollid but then again I'm not going to war with it. And if I was I sure as hell wouldn't be using anything EoTech anyway.

There supposed to be tough as nails. Read a article in a magazine called "Recoil" about all the test they put it through including putting it in a campfire and it passed with flying colors

I love these scopes and it is what i have on my House AR. Never had a problem, plus it is one of the few that has a lifetime warranty for replacement if it ever fails.
