My brother called Remington Custom shop for a AWR or NAR 700 and apparently "Coat of Arms Rifling" is doing the work and sales now.Any one have any good or bad dealings with these folks? Thank you!

I think Rem moved its custom shop to Sturgis, SD when they acquired Dakota Arms.

I called Remington a few weeks ago to inquire about sending a rifle back for some repairs. I was told to send it to one of their recommended gunsmiths. No more factory repair work.

Yes, a gentleman from Dakota arms told me about 2 months ago, that they would be doing all of Rem's custom shop work. They were nice enough, but a total train wreck to try to deal with. I gave up on the varmint rifle I was after.
