It would be a bad move not to use .284" grooves.

I agree and that's what I would prefer... That 275 rigby stamp is just too cool to turn down...

Uh oh. That Whelen is calling my name. I don't see a twist rate listed anywhere.

The .44 mag and the .275 Rigby are hard to pass up I would have preferred a .26 or .28 Nosler with the 28" barrel, though the Creedmoor seems more interesting, the more I look at it. They need good wood, though

44 mag. looks interesting. I'm sure it will outshoot the 77/44 any day.

Gee, I wonder if it'll be like Lipsey's 2015 No. 1 offerings that never seemed to materialize. Wrong wood, etc.
Does this mean the 257 Roy is no longer in the production schedule?

They need good wood, though I agree on the .26/.28 comment. I may buy a Creedmoor and rechamber to .26. My 28" .257 Weatherby gets big velocity and I think a .26 would also. I have a temptation to buy the .275 also and restamp as 7x57 so it will match my brass.

They can even stamp the barrel 30 WCF, because apparently barrel stamping horns folks up.

Why not 460 S&W again, or 475 Linebaugh/480 Ruger? Or 444 Marlin, that would also shoot 44 Mag?

Several years ago there was a run of 30/30's.

Several years ago there was a run of 30/30's. yeah, I could like a .30-30 as well. There are a few 7.62x39's out right now, which isn't a bad substitute. El Numero Uno shows one .30-30 on his website: http://www.classicsportingarms.com/ruger_no1s_for_sale
