Piecing together a rifle from a barreled action I picked up cheap. I bought a bolt stop from Mid West Gun Works and I bought the wrong one, I think.

I bought the Short Magnum (K) version, but it's too long. I compared the length to my model 70 300 win mag and they are about the same. Am I missing something or do I need to order another bolt stop?

Thank you,

GB1

If it's too long just cut it shorter. I don't know which one you have or need but I've cut them back before when changing calibers and haven't run into any problems.
