Our local Sherman-Williams stores will take up to 5 gallons a day for recycle. No matter the paint brand. I just got rid of 15 gallons taking them to Sherman-Williams.

That sounds like a solution looking for a problem. It might speed up drying but I doubt the final product is any different than just leaving the lid off.

If you want to speed up drying, line a big cardboard box with plastic and dump it in. The more surface area, the faster it dries.

If you have several cans, donate it to Habitat for Humanity.
They will take about anything.
If not, let it dry and throw in in the trash.

I just put mine in a plastic trash bag and toss it in the garbage can, let someone else worry about it.

Solidify it with cat litter. pour litter in and stir around. Leave lid off and it will be dry in a few hours.

If you are on a municipal sewer system, why not dump a little at a time down the sanitary drain and flush with plenty of water ?
