Don't waste your money on "Babel," boys and girls. One of the most boring, self indulgent (Hey, look at me! I'm a movie director!!!) flicks I've ever seen.

And I've seen a whole lot of boring flicks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

SamSteel, whenever I see a flick such as "Babel," I'm always reminded of a cartoon I saw years ago in The Los Angeles Times .

There is a well dressed gentleman standing outside of the box office of a theater. He is pointing a gun at the cashier who is in the ticket booth.

He says, "This movie is so bad, I want everybody's money back!" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

As is usual Hollywood is out of touch with the people. It gets panned by the populace yet it's been nominated for 7 Golden Globe awards.
