He initially denied, then was told "he had nothing to worry about". After confessing, the state used his confession to convict he and Steve Avery, Dassey's uncle.
**I have no idea what happened. I figure Avery probably did it. Again, I don't know. The documentary shows only one side of the story, however I believe the documentary proved that the state's case terrible, and neither, especially Dassey, should've have been convicted.
