I got these on Gunbroker the other day and am looking forward to shooting my first 22 Svg HP/5.6X52R. It was good timing. S&B USA just imported a bunch of 70gr SP ammo. I ordered 5 boxes from Bud's. They were the cheapest, shipped. I'll try 60gr Nosler PT .224 bullets for my first reloads. I believe these have a 1-10 twist and will stabilize the .227 70gr Hornady's, should Hornady ever make any again.

I love mine but try the 55gr bullets from Buffalo arms because I dont think you're gonna like the .224 bullets results.I only bought 2 boxes of SB mainly to get the brass--I just can't get good results from them but once in a while I'll find a box of Norma on a table at a show--those are worth their weight in gold--to me anyway

I believe I have a box of Hornady 70 gr in the shop and I owe you for the 9.3x72 brass and bullets anyway, pm me with your address again, I'll try and get them out in the next week or two, I have company now.
For sure we need to get a coyote hunt in in Jan. When I come through.

I have used the .227 Hornady's (in my 99 Savage with not the best bore) and get just as good results with .224 bullets. It's been a while, but I think 63 grain Sierras. I made a bunch of .22 HP brass from .30-30 brass. Took a while to get my case forming routine down, but once I did I didn't lose much brass. Don't ask how, it was several years ago and haven't touched it since. Also, I have no idea what loads I was using, but I think I used IMR3031.

"For sure we need to get a coyote hunt in in Jan. When I come through." Bring that sweet little Sauer drilling with you. I Need to pop something with it. ..."and get just as good results with .224 bullets. " I am hearing a lot of that. Thanks for the input.
