Dang Steve, I was going to mess with Joe and say I had 366321, just because that was lower than his question number of 3663XX. You really have it. As much as I like "F's", I missed yours. I probably walked by it 20 times, Joe.

Steve, you have the earliest in my data, now. That is three with in a 250 serial number range, made late 1937. I'm guess that this might be close to when production on these checkered F's started.

Thanks nice to know i have the earliest for now. I like the take take downs . I have 10 and had 8 at savage fest east including a redone K .I also had 3 barrel bands. I should have spread out my guns more. I should have stayed longer Friday night for eats and visiting and stories . Live and learn. steve
