Did a slow 5 hour smoke/cook on this pork roast after a thorough injection of creole butter and lightly rubbed with a mixture of spices. Then glazed with roasted pineapple habanero sauce. Served with fresh corn on the cob, hobo tators and cucumbers.

Yes and no. It's convenient for long cooks but it's not always easy controlling the temp swings they tend to have.
I do a lot of smoking and grilling on a charcoal grill as well and I like that better for shorter cooks.

Think I've said this before ! I really like this Raspberry Chipotle sauce too. Oh, look, together ! Great marinade, or baste, but also great with a cheese platter.

Yes, I think so. I had their CS on the phone and they directed my dumb azz Stuck a toothpick in a hole on the box and all was well. So EEZY that 284LUVR could do it. Call them.

I changed it from the factory setting of P-2 to P-1 and then to P-0 after reading a bit on the net about it. It helped but still not where I want it. I'll give them a call next time I cook. Thanks!

Could I get more information on resetting the program on a Treager?
I have the Big Texan, and the temps shift up and down constantly.
It is a great BBQ, but even temps would make it even better.
Thanks! Virgil B.

Called Traeger CS and got instructions on re-setting the temp program. Sounds like a simple process.
Thanks for the information! Virgil B.
