The definition of stupid seems to change on a daily basis. Unless things have changed in the 35+ years since I was sworn in as a firefighter, we also pledged to defend the constitution. That commissioner should have been fired.

The "chairman" needs to be fired....I noticed his name was "Gralinski"...kind of gotta wonder if there isn't a connection to "Alinski"... A local NBC affiliate obtained audio of Central Coventry Fire District Chairman Fred Gralinski making the comparison at a board meeting

It's gotten to the point that only idiots and ideologues run for public office. Real public servants just don't want to deal with the crap that our government spews out at all levels. Sad, very sad...

Yup, what we really need, sadly enough, is a true threat to this country inside our borders so that idiots like the Commissioner can get scared back into reality and realize who the good guys are. This country needs a major war to pull it back together, but unfortunately, I think we are so far gone half the population would support the other side.
I wish I had been born in the 40s so that all the crap I see now would be at the end of my days and I could have been part of the greatest generation. I grew up in the 60's and 70's and that was not too bad, but I probably have another 20-25 years of this crap and I hate to see where it ends up.
