Same here. It is the Pop Up add at the bottom of the screen for Academy. Every page I go to, every time I open a thread and close, the pop up comes back. It is doing it on My home computer with Windows vista and my work computer with Windows 10. I have been on this site for about 30 min this am and that Pop Up add has come back I know 50 times.

I use adblocker, and it has been the best thing to prevent
both the popups, some that even post audio, very annoying.

The banner ads both top and bottom are also removed.

Rick: Tell us about these ads, the forum owner has control
of these ads, and with adclick, revenue is generated to the
site, everytime somebody clicks on one.

This site is the worst of any I go to for advertising.

I realize some things are not free.

AdBlock works on pre-set list of commercial ads to block... it allows you to choose between these list, modify, and to remove or add your own list. And some adds get by... right clicking on the add or image with the mouse or pad and then clicking on Adblock Plus: Block image at the bottom of the drop down menu will add this image or site to the list to block.

If your accessing from iPhone give crystal a try. I am now able to surf this site without issue. Before I pretty much gave up due to them.

I will say the other issue that hasn't been fixed/figured out is why the hell does my inbox for messages always flash like I have a message when I don't. Been doing that since the moment I signed up for this forum

Chevy trucks on my iPad, endless. I use Google's Chrome as the browser on my iPad.

I use Chrome with Adblock on my PC and have no issues on any site.

If the bottom ad appears for you on every page, I have a question: are you logged in when you first come to the Fire and do you stay logged in throughout? Or do you have to log in constantly.

It's a question related to cookies.

I am on my IPad now. No bottom ad for well over an hour, which is how it is supposed to work. Trying to isolate what may be different between my settings and yours.

Some more questions:

Are you on cellular or wifi?

Are you in one place or are you traveling through different networks?

I'm at home on ATT, logged in constantly, and surfing the entire Fire.

I stay logged in. It is my home computer. I get a pop-up (usually Academy) on every page or when I go to a new topic.

Ditto. My time here has become very limited due to the pop ups and ads causing me to freeze up. And it's only on this web site.

I love this site, but almost gave up. I downloaded AdGuard on my iPad and it solved everything. No ads, site is fast and smooth.

Ublock Origin (free) seems to work. I've never seen a pop up in the time I've spent here.

This last week while browsing on my Android phone I would be redirected off this site and could not go back. I would have to close the browser and reopen a new one, and I did it a dozen times. It would always redirect me to a page which mimics a google website saying my phone is infected. When I changed my phone's settings to 'view page as desktop' the problem went away.

How much do they cost? The Pop-ups, that is.
