Do you think leaving a patch in the bore cause a rifle to blow up.?

If by "blow up" you mean split barrel, lock up action, burst case, or otherwise wreak havoc with a rifle, sure, it could. That doesn't mean it will, every time, but I surely see no reason to play the odds.

At the very least, a ringed barrel is a high certainty and ringed barrels are not beneficial ......... in any way.

Yes!
Even lint from a patch has caused a barrel to burst.
ALWAYS check your bore after cleaning.
