I've had a gen 1 700 Ti in 7mm-08 sitting in the safe for a couple of years. I'm thinking it's time it earned its keep this fall, so I need to develop a load for it. In other rifles so chambered, I've shot 120 TSX over R15, and it has always worked great, but I've got some 150 LRABs sitting on the shelf. I'm thinking R15, or maybe R17 should do nicely, but I have N150, N160, and H4350 if any of those work better. Thoughts? Targets are Eastern WT's

RL-17 or Ramshot Big Game -
H4350 probably cannot stuff enough into case...

As stated above, I've had a lot of luck with RL-17 in several 7-08's. It's a good fit in a mid size case.

I'll run ladder tests with 15 and 17. It ll be interesting to see which comes out on top with the 150's.

'17 works real well out of my 7mm-08 Ackley with the 150 Accubond LR. I think you'll like it in your 7-08 standard.

X-VERMINATOR Where have you found the LRAB like to be seated, in relation to the lands?

I'll have to check my notes when I get home but I'm thinking I ended up 20 thou off. Probably my favorite deer bullet out of that rifle right now...

Try H380 with your 120 ttsx in the lw rifle. It makes mine shine. I use 47 grs.
