Used to be that right before Dove season, places had a sale on cheap, light loads for Dove Hunting. I have seen a few ads this year, by mail flyers, and the price is about the same as it has been all summer, and in some cases higher. Only "cheap" shells that I have seen are off brand and then only about $0.10 per box cheaper than name brand. I think they crept their price up and then lowered it a little for "a sale". Kinda like clothing stores and furniture stores do. miles
Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

Cabelas has Estate 1oz. 7.5 shells on sale for $49.99 a case. That's $10.00 off regular price and about as cheap a shell as you'll find these days.
Free shipping on $99.00 or more.
Have a great season.

There's so little profit in shells, unless somebody wants to use them as a loss leader, there ain't much to discount.

My Uggie 20 SxS has not patterned the Estates well. But loves Fiocchi golden pheasants . Much to my wallets dismay.
